I am asked by moms often about age appropriate gifts for their little ones so I decided to put together gift guides by age! Here is the first one for your baby’s first birthday! Besides a medal for making it through your first year, feel free to pass along this list to anyone who might want to buy your baby a present but might not know what to get! Any and all of these actually get used and provide hours of entertainment. The one thing to remember is that even “educational” toys don’t actually teach your child…you do. So while we want our children to play well independently, make sure you’re spending plenty of time down on the floor playing with your little ones and using your narration of your day as you go through it as a teaching opportunity!
