Growing up, Rene was always around water. She spent summers at the river and was on the swim team at Alta Loma High School in Alta Loma, CA. It was in high school that she started teaching swim lessons and became certified. After high school, Rene worked for the City of Rancho Cucamonga for 8 years managing their swim program. As soon as Rene had her own home, she put in a pool and 27 years ago, she began Rancho Swim Lessons. When her kids started school, she worked in several different capacities at Central School District so that she could stay close to her kids and also do what she loves, which is to work with children.
